In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the overall appearance and cleanliness of our properties, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our residents and guests.
Located in Los Angeles, CA, Pay Rate is $18.00- $19.00+ D.O.E.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain Cleanliness: Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of common areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and recreational areas.
- Groundskeeping: Ensure the exterior areas, such as lawns, gardens, walkways, and parking lots, are well-kept, litter-free, and aesthetically pleasing.
- Trash Management: Collect and dispose of trash and recycling from common areas, ensuring proper waste management practices.
- Minor Repairs: Conduct minor repairs and maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs, fixing leaky faucets, and addressing basic plumbing and electrical issues.
- Assist Residents: Provide exceptional customer service by assisting residents with requests and addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
- Report Issues: Identify and report any maintenance or safety issues to the property management team for timely resolution.
- Seasonal Tasks: Perform seasonal tasks, such as snow removal, leaf raking, and pressure washing, to ensure the property remains in top condition year-round.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the property management team and other staff members to ensure a cohesive and efficient operation.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in janitorial, groundskeeping, or maintenance roles is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate!
- Skills: Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques, tools, and equipment. Ability to perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects, stand, walk, and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness and safety standards.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to interact with residents and team members in a friendly and professional manner.
- Reliability: Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
