The Apartment Maintenance Technician will have strong people skills and a positive attitude, they will be responsible for the overall maintenance of the community assigned under the direction of the Property Manager and Maintenance Supervisor. The ideal candidate will be able to handle work orders, make-readies, grounds, and any other preventative maintenance needed to upkeep the communities. This will be a split schedule between two different properties.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Basic Electrical, Plumbing, Painting, Carpentry, and Drywall skills

· Appliance Repairs/Troubleshoot

· HVAC and Boilers Systems knowledge a plus

· Make Readies as scheduled

· Completion of work orders and make-readies as assigned in a timely manner

· On-Call Rotation

· Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and Yearly Inspections of all areas of the property

· Upkeep the property grounds

· Preventative Maintenance to include sprinkler system, smoke detector, and fire extinguishers

· Communicate with Residents regarding their service requests

The Schedule: Monday-Friday 8 AM – 4:30 PM

Pay Rate: $18-$22/hourly

Location: Fon Du Lac and Horicon, WI

 

EXPERIENCE:

· High School Diploma

· Minimum of 6 months experience in Apartment Maintenance (similar experience welcomed)

· Basic Tools Needed

· Reliable Transportation

· Outgoing, self-motivated and highly reliable

· Ability to work alone at times, with little to no supervision

· EPA Type I, II, III a plus

· Must be able to lift 50lbs

· Use of Hand Tools and Power Tools
