Apartment Maintenance Technician
Shelby, NC · Construction/FacilitiesCareer Strategies is seeking a seasonal skilled Apartment Maintenance Technician to work in the Apartment Industry. We are looking for someone who works well with others, has a great work ethic, is friendly, and is resourceful. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge and skills in electrical, plumbing, painting, drywall, appliance repairs, and carpentry.

- Location: Shelby, NC
- The Schedule: Monday-Friday 8 AM – 5 PM
- Pay Rate: $20-$22/hr- Weekly paychecks
- Common area maintenance and daytime janitorial duties as needed
- Replacing outlets, and doors, install of light fixtures, installing sinks/toilets, and garbage disposals.
- Painting- includes doors, wall touch-ups- basic drywall, etc.)
- Assisting with make-readies, remodeling, trash outs of vacant homes, and repairs
- Perform preventative and corrective general maintenance duties
- Apply all applicable company policies and procedures such as, but not limited to company operating and safety standards
- Provide residents with outstanding customer service
- Participates in the removal of snow and ice from sidewalks, walkways, steps, and driveways
- Manages records of activity in the maintenance log
- Pressure washing
- At least 3 years of apartment maintenance experience
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Must be able to work with power tools/hand tools
- Able to lift up to 50lbs
- Outstanding customer service and great communication and interpersonal skills
