Key Responsibilities:
- Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local housing regulations, including Fair Housing laws and low-income housing tax credit guidelines.
- Documentation & Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized compliance records, lease agreements, and inspection reports.
- Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits, providing required documentation and addressing discrepancies.
- Data Entry & Reporting: Accurately update compliance-related information in property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio) and prepare reports.
- Communication: Provide excellent customer service and assist residents with compliance-related inquiries, ensuring all communications are compliant.
- Regulatory Updates: Stay current on regulatory changes and assist in implementing necessary adjustments to policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Certification: Low-Income Housing Tax Credit Certified COS or HCCP Certification (required).
- Certification: COS or HCCP Certification (required).
- Customer Service Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with the general public.
- Work Environment: Able to work in an office setting for extended periods.
- Transportation: Must be able travel to various properties as needed.
- Hours: Regular office hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with flexibility to adjust as necessary.
