Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Clerk with a strong background in tax credit compliance. This role ensures that our properties meet all regulatory requirements while providing excellent service to residents and team members.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain compliance with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) regulations

  •  Review, process, and audit tenant files to ensure accuracy
  • Assist with annual recertifications and reporting requirements
  • Work closely with on-site staff to ensure adherence to compliance guidelines
  • Provide exceptional customer service when working with residents and external agencies
  • Work in an office setting for extended periods, with flexibility to travel to properties as needed

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Tax Credit Certificate
  • COS (Certified Occupancy Specialist) or HCCP (Housing Credit Certified Professional) Certification
  • Excellent customer service skills and a great personality
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
